I bought a pair of these Brookstone speakers to replace the same model that I used for about 15 years. Love these speakers and I think the base is even stronger than my old ones. I use the them to teach and play music to medium size groups.

I bought these as a back-up to a pair of Aomais that I recently purchased, the aomais are 15watts & when paired together for stereo.. kick ass!I wasn’t expecting much from these Brookstone speakers, BUT THEN.Upon opening them I noticed they were packaged quite professionally, both speakers in individual boxes, then converged onto One box. Here is the skinny:Heavy little speakers 15oz each to be exact, the weight is the magnet of the bass speaker (cool right?!)SUPER easy to pair with Bluetooth AND to connect them to each other, just hold them back to back (easy right?!)They are 10watts, so combined with an equalizer (on my iPhone) and placed on the right surface, sounds GREAT! (disclosure, folks let’s keep things in perspective these speakers are 4X3 in size and 10watts) for this size and price, I paid $60 bucks, they can sound amazing, don’t expect a Bose $2000 surround sound…ok?)My set up, I live in an apartment with wood floors, surround sound is prohibited, I have a Bluetooth device connected to my 65” flat screen, then I connect these 2 bad boys to the Bluetooth device, then to each other, place them both on my bed, NOW the sound is right there in front of you, the mid ranges and bass are outstanding!! AND you don’t bother anyone because the vibrations of the speakers are dampened by the bed, BUT BOY DO YOU HEAR AND FEEL THEM!! The sound doesn’t have to travel across the room and lose its quality… your welcome!Once you do this you will never do it any other way, unless you live in a home and can afford a theater set up, but on a dime, try this!!Battery life is average 6 to 8 hours depending on how loud, etc, etc. Hope this helps! These speakers have pretty good sound for the size and the price. The function of the power button playing back your most recent track by touching it is a nice feature, except for when you accidentally touch it. I gave it an overall four stars for a couple reasons. One I don’t like that the speakers don’t automatically pair with my phone when I turn them on like other brands or speakers I’ve used. I have to go into my bluetooth settings and manually select the speaker. It’s not a huge deal but a minor annoyance. The other reason is because one of the speakers I bought in the pair quit putting out sound after I used it a few times even though it was clearly connected to my phone. When I contacted the company about sending the defective one back for either a refund or an exchange, they sent me a replacement without requiring the broken one to be sent back. Kudos to them!

I used this speaker the day it arrived. I volunteer at a rose garden in a city park and I like to listen to music. This speaker allows me to do that without having to use my Iphone and the phone getting dirty or wet from the muddy areas. It connected quickly and easily and I love that I can attach it to anything. This was a big plus for me. It moves when I move and not having to move it as I move around like with my Iphone. I never had a Bluetooth speaker before and I am familiar with Brookstone products so I was not surprised at how well it sounded. Since I found out I can connect another speaker to this one I may be getting another one for that stereo sound outside at back patio parties.

Quality product. I haven't been able to link my two speakers, but I will try again. I saw a Bose version of this type of speaker on a shopping channel for three times what I paid..

Good quality for the size. Nice for vacations or or business trips. The linking to a second speaker is great with good range. I can have them a good 40 to 50 feet apart and spread the music throughout the Air BnB.

I dislike the fact that they are so big, but the worst thing is that you have to go into your setting to reselect & reset your Bluetooth speakers every time you turn off the speaker. I listen to audio books on a timer every nite. I give it an hour & I usually go to sleep. When I wake up at 2am & want to listen again, I have to go into my setting & reselect & reactivate the bluetooth again. I have bought quite a few Bluetooth speakers over the years; as they never last more than 6 month, some even less. I thought buying these from Brookstone would be a better quality, but I never had to reset a Bluetooth speaker like this. They ALWAYS stayed set up till I disconnected manually, which is what I would have expected from this brand.

I’ve purchased so many speakers and tried to pair and none of them were as seamless as these! I put these on two sets of tennis courts and their no delays between each. Love these!
