The highest quality harvest of the region is tested, procured and then sent for aging for a minimum period of one year in the most conducive environment of the company owned storage. The aged paddy is then sent ' for cleaning, milling and packaging in a state-of-the-art rice milling . Bab Al Hind is distinguished by the long length, fineness and smooth texture of its grains. The cooked grains won't break or stick together. The aroma is delicate and the taste is simply irresistible. WHY AGED RICE? For Basmati to flower in all its unique attributes, it must be matured for at least one year. The result? On cooking, the grains elongate two to three times; won’t break or stick together; and release a characteristic aroma.
