Seems to do the job if this is what you need
This is just what I wanted some kind of lamp to plug into a plug strip. I have a little on the wall in the garage that would periodically shut off and I had a freezer a chest freezer plugged into the plug strip and I wanted to know when I’d still had tower to the plug strip by using this as an indicator light

Works great
Got it to fix a bee hive minecraft light to my ceiling to create more desk space. It doesn't work fantastic for smaller lamps as the part that fits through the lamp shade opening is bigger then small lamp shades bit I still made it work. Cord was longer then I expected.

Fixed a 36 year old problem
I’ve never had a light in my laundry closet and always had to use a flashlight . I didn’t want to cut a hole in the ceiling to install a light fixture because there might not even be a wire right there . This worked perfectly. I attached the cord to the ceiling and wall with clear clamps . The on /off switch ended up in the perfect place , with the cord behind the plastic box .There was one ring missing on the bulb socket, which made it a bit of a challenge on adding a shade , but I made it work .
