This tool is 15 cm. Its an excellent piece of kit, you have to get used to it because the metal tip is angled so there is a knack to getting Staples out but once you have mastered it, Its really useful. The handle is a very sturdy piece of wood which fits perfectly in your hand, I have re-upholstered 4 dining chairs and 2 lounge wicker chairs. I am a complete novice with this tool and really found it useful. I hope this helps you. - Joan
