Buyer beware
Beautiful but Not pre seasoned don’t fall for it. Buy unseasoned wok and season yourself

The first meal was the last meal
This is a very-well built wok with strong handle and ideal shape for stir-fry. Heat dissipates evenly, allowing for uniform and efficient cooking. This wok has some weight to it but well-balanced and doesn't feel cheap. What lands this two stars is that the interior coating started to peel after only one meal. Still usable (for now) until it propagates, but noticeably flawed and has lost its appeal and luster. Style and functionality are on point....quality is lacking.

Early days yet, but instructions could be improved
Haven't used the Forest Wok yet, so this is just about the (lack of good) instructions, and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with 4 stars pending actual use.First the ONLY included instructions can only be read with a magnifying glass--maybe 6-point type or smaller.Second, regarding seasoning instructions, the instructions say specifics are on "the tag" attached to the wok--but they aren't. Nor could we locate any on the Website. In fact, the tag says "pre-seasoned--can be used right away" while the tiny-type instructions (which appear to be written to try to cover multiple specific products) say to scrub the surface of the new pan with an abrasive brush and then season (but no seasoning instructions provided.)Definitely some work needed on the instructions!!!

Rusty
Used this twice and started to rust & the black coating faded quickly. This is not healthy.

So much potential, and so disappointing
This wok is absolutely wonderful in so many ways, and I was excited to get it and put it to use. I was so ready to launch into some amazing lo mein and fried rice, the list does go on. Shopping list was ready to go...As I inspected it, I was quite duly impressed, until I came to its fatal flaw. The wooden handle. As I go to lift the wok, the handle flexes and bends a good quarter inch, and I don't mean this in any good way, whatsoever. The handle has every appearance of being about to break. I purposefully haven't stressed it, as I feel it will simply snap. The picture shows the flex without any weight pressing, just the weight of the pan itself. If I press lightly, it doubles instantly. The last thing I am going to do is get cooking on a searing hot wok, and not feel confident about the handle. Perhaps I simple received one that had a small defect, and if so, I hope all others will find much wonderful use with theirs. As for me, I wouldn't cook with this unless it was an emergency, and even then with great reluctance and care.I have used many quality woks and pans over the years, and have not come across anything like this before. In truth, given all the remainder of the craftsmanship, which is excellent, I would think my experience is an aberration. Still and all, as it stands presently, I cannot use the item.No matter how wonderfully crafted is the pan, and it does indeed look to be so, if the handle is a weak point, not able to support it, all the rest matters not.To make matters worse, sadly, only a few days after receiving it, when I went to contact the seller, it was as if they all but vanished. No ability to even send a note. Just today, for the first time, am I even able to leave a review for the product.I hope this is something that is indeed, a one off, as I would delight to be able to come back and edit and say I actually did receive a quality product which I look forward to much use. For now, I cannot recommend.

Won't recommend at all
Really wanted to like this.Has beautiful handle and the shape of the wok is nice , heavily built and looked sturdy.. but.. This was a disaster.I don't know if its the particular product we got or generically this would happen with all of the woks. The black color came off with everything we used this pan for. Its turned into brownish greyish piece of metal. Cannot even return it. We use it to store stuff rather than cook.
