Shemaghs have been worn by both the military and civilians alike for many years. They were originally known as keffiyeh, with the term "shemagh" coming from the Turkish word "yasmak" and loosely translated as "bound thing". They are very well made and measure massive 110cm x 110cm so you have plenty of scarf to work with. They are made from 100% cotton, with knotted tassel ends around the edges. They can be worn in a variety of styles and ways and provide extra protection from the elements, be it sun and dust of a dry climate or wind and cold we are used to in the UK. High quality woven shemaghs, made from 100% cotton.
