I kind of rolled the dice on this set.I bought it just to learn. It is sturdy and well designed. All of the many assorted kit sounds are great sounding and there are many helps built into the module to to help with practice: songs in a range of styles, built- in programmable metronome, coaching games , you can even record your sessions. I don’t often review leave a review on my purchases but I think this product really deserves your consideration. I hope Donner continues to innovate and offer great musical products with more than reasonable prices!

This is perfect for a working drumset. The variety of sounds and modularity is limited, but it's reasonable for the price.Putting the set together is more time-consuming than anything else, so take the time to get everything sorted or it's a lot of retracing one's steps.It's as easy as grabbing the sticks and pushing a button.

This is a nice drum set. The set was packaged well and easy to assemble. The number of sounds is really good. I was finding different sounds that I like, although they were parts of different sets. There's a user kit where you can choose your own sounds, which is what I will probably use. I don't expect this to fully replace a real drum set, but it is good for learning, as well as having a quieter set for practicing at home. I own a lot of Donner musical instruments and have been quite happy with the quality.The down side was actually getting it. I was first sent the EC-3130 model with only three cymbals when I had ordered the EC-3133 set with four cymbals. Amazon made it easy to return and exchange. The second set I received was the correct model.I would give the drum set four stars for ease of assembly and drum responsiveness. The only issue was dealing with customer service. After contacting them about receiving the wrong set and an initial email saying they would check into it, a whole week went by without another word from Donner. Also, the Melodics link still won't work using the Amazon order numbers, also without a response from Donner customer service. I'm dropping a star from the review for lack of customer service.In summary: Good product. Finally received what was expected. Poor response from customer service.Edit: After writing this review, Donner Customer Service reached out. I think we both agree Amazon shipped the wrong set the first time, which was resolved by the replacement. I have lots of Donner musical instruments (at least seven) and all are very good quality. This drum set is exactly what I expected and is a really good drum learning tool. As far as the drum set is concerned, I am a satisfied customer. I'm glad their customer service team reached out to try to make sure such issues don't happen to others in the future. Just be aware that if you have issues, it may take a week or two to get a resolution. Out of all the Donner products I own, this had been the first issue I've had, and it really wasn't Donner's fault. There's always room for improvement, especially in customer service. I've added a star back for their willingness to work things out.

What an absolute insane value for someone wanting a kit to practice or just jam out at home in peace. It has all the features you want without extra stuff. The fun to $ ratio is crazy on this product. Highly recommended

This is a very good drum set and it's very easy to assemble. Not huge so it's good for smallSpaces

Update 03/19/24I am updating based on the usage for the past 3 months. I bought this as a Xmas gift for my husband. The first kit was used and had missing parts. It was an embarrassing disappointment. However, this is where the review changes. Due to my last review Donner reached out to us not only did they sent us a new kit immediately, they also refunded part of what I paid in hopes that they changed my mind. I was impressed with their service but I wasn't going to change my review until my husband had used the kit for a while to give it a proper review. In the mean time Donner reached out again and sent us an Amp. I was already impressed and happy with their service. The Amp wasn't necessary but appreciated.As far as customer service, we can say that Donner goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. So 5 starsAs far as the set goes, my husband is 6 ft tall and strong so he kinda looks like a giant, the set is tiny. He looks like a praying mantis drumming but he likes the set and he is satisfied with it. I love to hear him drumming . I'm not gonna say that this is the best drumming kit, I'm sure that there are better ones but this is a good starting kit and we are appreciative to Donner for their excellent support.****It was Christmas present for my husband and it was used and its missing several component including cables, high hat pedal, stand for stool and there are stains on the drum heads, missing wires. It seems and looks used and returned. How embarrassing and disappointing. I feel horrible.
