One of the best power tools I’ve ever bought
Used this to precisely remove side walk brick pavers. Amazing tool - cuts thru brick, concrete, cement, Portland with ease. I had to buy Makita replacement blade when I wore out the included blade. I had to adapt the water system fittings a little. The rubber band safety hinge is genius- you can flip the hinge out of the way for specialized cuts. It’s very heavy duty and well made. Mine has many hours of use on it and it will outlast me for sure. It is as sturdy and right now as it was out of the box. It’s kind of heavy, but as you use it, you realize it has to be.I bought this when I realized my little hand held wet saw was not up to the task. I am a very happy customer!

Saw works great!
This saw works great, the water feature reduces the dust to practically nothing when properly adjusted. I didn’t use the enclosed pump but rather adapted a garden hose to the supplied clear plastic line. I was able to adjust the water flow at the point of my hose adapter. The saw is heavy. I paced myself by making multiple cuts. Give the saw a few seconds to warm up so the enclosed breaker (on saw) doesn’t trip. If it trips, just give it a minute, reset it and continue. You’ll need a full face respirator because you’re going to get splattered in the face. Also, tilt the guard to deflect debris.

Very capable saw. Could use a better design for the blade shield.
This thing is a beast. It's powerful and very capable. I love the soft start. You can spin up the blade without a lot of torque precession moving you all around and messing up your line of sawing. Once you spin it up and engage it with the concrete, it just goes to work like the concrete offers little or no resistance. It works its way right through with no complaints. In spite of the fact that the blade turns "backwards" the saw is easily controlled during the cutting operation and is easily "steerable" through the concrete to some extent which allows you to maintain a straight line of cut. My main dislike about the saw is the blade shield which should actually cover half of the blade's arc instead of a little over a quarter of the blade arc. Although there is a little plastic extension to cover the blade arc, the saw would be better with a single metal shield that covers about half of the arc. You can't sink the saw more than halfway through the concrete before you hit the arbor anyway, so there's no reason not to shield half of the blade arc with one piece of metal. I like the fact that you can rotate the shield to accommodate the angle at which you want to hold the saw to approach the work, but the plastic extension is an inadequate means of shielding the blade arc. The little water pump that comes with the saw is just too toy-like to be useful and requires a static source of water for it to pump from. I didn't even use it. It would be better to just provide connector so you could just hook up to a standard water hose. Overall, the saw is very capable and does a good job.

Wow
I'll admit I never used a tool like this. I've used the abrasive blades that go into circular saws to cut brick and block. This thing went through a 4 inch solid like it owed it money. You have to flip something that thick over to cut all the way through, but it's not that big of a problem. Assembly was easy. I only had to look at the owners manual to find out which way to turn the blade screw to remove it. Seems hefty and well made. It's a slow start which is a good thing. It didn't trip the 1500w outlet strip, though I think it would if you really bogged it down. I can't imagine that happening as fast as it cuts. You have to take a little care that the blade doesn't bind, but when it did it wasn't too grabby.Would I buy this if I planned to use it all day every day? I'd probably buy two to have a spare, just in case. Especially if an apprentice was using it.

Easy and Light weight
Great concrete cutting tool ! The price for this machine impressed me for the quality and its performance. You can’t go with this machine.

Cheaper version of Harbor Freight that is scary to use.
Boxed arrived soaked in machine oil with a hole in it and one of the handle attachments was damage. Poor packaging was just the start. Supplied concrete blade was warped and dangerous to use. Concrete saw is poorly made that was difficult to control when cutting (with a new DeWalt blade not the supplied blade). Saw blade rotates counter-clockwise and spins into the face of the user. Because cutting is accomplished on the blade's downstroke, you have to pull into your cutline which is obscured by the saw. Came with a water delivery setup that I didn't even try to use because it was pretty hokey and apparent that it would be more trouble than it was worth. Cheap and in my opinion, unsafe to use. Save your money. In the process of requesting a return which is involves working directly with the manufacturer in another country.

Perfect DIYer tool
The concrete saw worked flawlessly and made cutting solid concrete a breeze. I am very happy with this purchase. Great value for the money.

Handle rotates but instructions stink
The concrete saw cuts great! Used it to cut 4” thick retaining wall block. I had no problem operating the machine off a 10 gauge outdoor extension cord on a 20amp circuit. Didn’t know at the time the handle rotated. Had to find that out from the Amazon add. Concrete saw blade cuts backward which is strange. You have to pull the saw toward you to cut rather than push like normal but it is powerful and cuts 4” block fast.Have not yet tried the water pump yet. Very happy with the purchase but instructions stink.
