LOVE my new toilet paper holder! We are doing a Pirate theme in the bathroom and this guy was phenomenal. I have to admit he is much bigger then I expected but that is not a bad thing. He will look great hangjng in our master bathroom. Will update when we get it up!! Definitely a great buy!!

LOVE this toilet paper roll holder! We painted it with a teal paint to give it more ooomph and pizzazz. Highly recommend, great piece for the price.As other reviewers stated, the holes are not aligned properly on the back. We took this into consideration when ganging it and it came out level.

This is beautiful but unless you place it at eye level or above, you'll miss much of its beauty. There are some maddening design issues with the mounting. The bracket is crooked and off center. I used a clear sheet of plastic and taped it to the back, marked the bracket holes, then leveled Mr. Kraken (with full roll!) and taped the sheet to the vanity I was mounting it on. That gave me my guide holes. Second issue: The resin is thicker behind at least one hole. That means the screw has to stick out farther so the screw head can get in deep enough to get behind the resin. Or you can file it out. I don't know what kind of extra-wide toilet paper rolls this was designed for. Maybe I can figure out some kind of spacer or cover. I replaced the white spring roll holder with a brown one. For the price this is poorly engineered but I have to admit I'm glad I got it. It is impressive.

Everyone was right this thing is horrible to install and you will hate it while you’re installing it. But once it’s installed it looks great!The back mountain was crooked I had to take it off and reglue it. Don’t rely on the three small screws in the back that hold the bracket on to the holder itself They weren’t attached!!! It was an easy fix with epoxy..

super cool looking! great price, fun item, well made and nicely packaged. this will be a gift, so its nice it comes in a box for the product.

The cavity behind the mounting plate was not cut out properly and consequently none of the screws provided will slide into the mounting plate. The mounting plate itself is also of shoddy craftsmanship, with one of the mounting holes only partially stamped out. If you're good with a dremel tool, you will be able to fix it so it will work. It's made in China.

The detail of the octopus is beautiful. It arrived very quick, I think it was less than a week from the order. I bought it for my daughter, she loves it.

The holes on the back of this are crooked which makes mounting it impossible and don't dare try to mount it a different way or you'll end up with a busted piece of $30 trash. And of course the return window has closed so now I'm out $30, toilet paper holder, and have 3 holes in my brand new wall. Bet the seller won't do anything about any of that!
