Make sure it is being sold by a reputable dealer. If a deal is too good to be true, it is.

Is this rated for 300 blackout?

It is a sight. It will work, you have spend time at the range. The ballistics of a 300 blackout depends on the grain you are using. All eotechs are centered around the 5.56 62 grain M885 with a 21 inch barrel. I am not implying you cannot use the sight with a 300 blackout. Will have to spend time at the range to create DOPE (data on previous engagement) for each of the 300 blackout bullet grains you are planning on using.
