I'm judging this off of one that I previously borrowed from a friend. I grew up in the 80s and 90s and these things weren't worth anything but let me tell you this one kicks ass. Very reliable very powerful and very useful. And you can change the blades. I've seen it go to town on large pills and smooth a T-shirt from small pills. It works and it's very easy to clean very easy to manage ergonomically due to its size. It will snag the edges of fabrics and longer fibers but it's a non-issue. It just eats them up just like everything else. Buy this thing if you're looking at it you probably want it and it's one of the few things that's worth it.

Live saver! My couch is a PITA with pilling. I would spend an hour with the single head shavers. This works like a charm and cuts time in half or more!

This works great! It really does a number on the fuzzy lint that will get on some clothing after it's been washed a few times. Where there are two heads, it really gets in there and does all the hard work for you! Just lightly press it to the item of clothing, and before you know it it is looking like it did when it was brand spanking new! You'll love the way your clothes look after one pass of this thing, and you'll love how easily it does the job and how little effort it takes to do it! Quit throwing clothes away when they just need to meet this device instead! It really will revitalize those clothes that don't look their best!

Works great for modal fabric, just make sure your item is completely flat. It can tear the fabric if you aren’t careful. It is faster than my previous one. Takes less passes because it’s basically like using two at one time. For me that’s worth the $30 price tag whereas the other one I had only cost $10.

5 star device! 10 years ago I bought a beautiful featherlight cashmere twin-sized blanket ( yeah, a week’s salary) to use as a throw in TV room. Daily use created thousands of little fur ball “pills” that look and feel so awful. Afraid to use a “wire carding brush” or metal sweater de-fuzzer as this is such fragile knit and it would have taken FOREVER to do such a large blanket anyhow. Discovered this tool recently and must say AWESOME! Best hints though:• DO use the “circular motion” mentioned in instructions. It matters.• DO NOT push down or “scrub” as blades under a screen are sharp and might create a little snag or hole . LIGHT touch is all that’s needed to guide it - let the machine do the work!• EMPTY handle when 1/3 - 1/2 full as it can get clogged and heat up battery. You’ll get a feel for it.• TAP out debris from the head, too! Those little fuzz balls can add up and slow down efficiency.• BUY THIS for sweaters, pillows, upholstery, knitwear that gets “fuzzballs/pilling “ WORKS like a charm ( see photos!)Wish I had found it years ago - a “Didn’t know I needed it until I tried it” kind of thing. Worth every penny!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Amazing job! I have five cats and my couch was showing it. This works great and is super quiet. Easy to empty container. I brought a ziplock and emptied in that as you do have to empty it frequently. Very satisfying sound as it shaved off the fabric. My couch looks brand new again!
