I have about a dozen of these now. I keep ordering more.For starters, they are exceptionally useful in your home, because they "create extra space" in plugs and outlets. For instance, smart plugs often overlap the other available plug slots in your wall outlet. So instead of a 6-outlet wall adapter you might only be able to use 3 or 4 of them in practice.Enter the CyberPower GC201 6" Heavy Duty Extension Cord. The male side, which plugs into the wall, has a female outlet on the back, in addition to the female outlet at the other end of the cord.This design lets you plug the extension cord into the outlet without actually taking up a plug. Because it provides a new one to replace the one you're using, and the replacement female plug sticks out an inch and is easier for your devices to reach.So it effectively changes a 2-outlet adapter into a 3-outlet one, a 4-outlet into a 5, and so on. It always adds one new plug.This, friends, makes it approximately the best travel accessory ever. I originally ordered these years ago for our big haunted house display for Halloween. Through the years I have been steadily taking them out of the Halloween storage bins and using them in unexpected places, apparently, six unexpected places, now I need more of them. In the pics you’ll see that these were an elegant and simple solution. I used one in a garage ceiling light receptacle that only had one plug working because a plug blade was broken off in the other one. I could have/should have just replaced the receptacle, but…this was just too perfect not to do. On my workbench I have receptacles on the wall behind a framed pegboard wall and these poke them out just enough to be flush to the board. Also using them in a covered exterior porch receptacle that is recessed and these are perfect to bring that plug out where you can actually plug things in, and the cord makes it great for big brick styled plugs. They’re also very solidly built, the AWG is 14, I think? They mate firmly, maybe a little too firmly at first, but they slide together nicely over time. I also love that the cord is on the bottom right corner at a 45° angle. Gets it down and out of the way for a super convenient, quality connection.I’ll update this review if I can add anything else, but truth be told, I’m oddly addicted to these. Oh, one on the end of a light duty extension cord, and it’s pure joy.Wants:I wish they’d consider making a thicker AWG for bigger applications.An exterior version.Colors.Different lengths.World Peace.

I purchased this extension for my inverter in my solar generator project. The extension is short which is what I needed and it has a heavy duty coating. Works well and I have no issues with this product so far. It is reasonably priced.

This was really the best option around back when they were $2.50 each. It's a shame there's nothing else like it, and the closest things on az now are like $7

I absolutely LOVE these extension cords! They are one of the most convenient and useful items I have found in a long time. I use these SO often to plug one more item in where I am out of sockets. Great quality!

These do exactly what you need them to do - allows you to plug in a large adapter to a power bar that would otherwise block adjacent outlets. These are made well, and plug in solid. Not bad for ~$3 apiece.

These outlet extenders are extremely helpful for several reasons. First, many of today’s electronics use a transformer that is physically part of the plug which actually plugs into the wall outlet. For a variety of reasons many times this large transformer plug combination will not fit into the wall outlet itself. This extender plug will plug into the wall outlet and at the end of the connected 6-inch cord there is another outlet that will allow this large transformer plug to be plugged into the wall outlet. The extender plug that plugs into the wall has a pass-through plug so you could another normal plug on it, so you do not lose the wall pug entirely (as long as it is not a transformer plug).
