propane filler adapter 1 pound Operating instructions of the refill adapter Put your empty 1 lb cylinders in a freezer for a couple of hours. Attach the coupler to your propane tank (5-40 lb tank). Attach your 1 lb tank (fresh from the freezer) to the adapter. Pick up your large tank cylinder and turn it upside down and rest it securely on the corner of your picnic table. First, install the QCC1 type to the 5-40 LB tank cylinder. Close the 1/4" propane on-off control valve. Then install the 1" x 20 internal thread disposable throttle on the 1lb tank cylinder. Open the propane 5-40 tank cylinder valve .then tun on 1/4" propane control valve. when the flow of liquid propane 1lb tank cylinder stops, shut off 1/4" propane control valve. .removed the 1 lb tank cylinder. Continue to refill the next 1lb tank cylinder. just adjustment 1/4" propane control valve to turn on and shut off . Instead of traditional 1 lb propane refill adapter, we designed it with a special high pressure shut off control valve which help you control the refill process easily instead of worring about it is full and need to take off the adapter. This is safe and easy control the gas. Instructions 1. Place the BBQ propane tank in the sun for as long as you can (2hrs or more). 2. Place the 1 lb tank in the freezer for 30 mins or more. 3. Make sure the BBQ tank valve is shut off then insert nose tip of the "Meter Star" adapter into BBQ tank fill connection. 4. Turn the MeterStar hose adapter counter clockwise to a tight fit. 5. Screw in the 1 lb tank clockwise into the Meter Star adapter. 6. Turn BBQ tank upside down. 7. Slightly open the BBQ tank valve (do not open all the way, just a crack). If you are having issues reaching the valve, slightly tip the tank back to expose the BBQ valve.
