Product description ------------------- 1/2" BSP REPLACEMENT REPAIR TAP GLAND WATER FLOW CARTRIDGE FOR 019N BATH SHOWER MIXERS AS WELL AS 018 & 014 BASIN TAPS: 1. Principally made from brass, this Low Pressure Tap Gland Cartridge is suitable for various taps sold by us. Some of the ones we sell are shown in the Picture gallery above. 2. This listing does not include a Control handle. 3. The cartridge operates with low pressure as well as high pressure systems, and will fit many different makes. It can be used to improve water flow where your existing flow is restricted by a 1/4 Turn Ceramic Disc cartridge. 4. To install it with a Bath Mixer or Basin Tap all you have to do is remove the control handle then undo the 'nut' shaped section of the cartridge. Always ensure your water is off when fitting!! 5. The Dimensions are: Total Length of Cartridge when closed is 49mm. It is a standard 1/2"BSP size thread (measures 3/4" diameter where it fits into the taps/valve body). There are 20 splines (teeth) with a diameter of 7.5mm. 6. The recommended minimum water pressure is 0.2 bars. 7. Please check the images above and the dimensions before purchasing to ensure a good match and carefully compare to your one before installing. Please note this is NOT a Thermostatic valve. With Thermostatic taps and showers, please be aware that they usually require reasonably high water pressures. Please do not install one if you aren't sure about your pressures. If you do, and the pressure is insufficient, then it is NOT returnable. It does not mean that the item is defective!
