PondWorx Pond Bacteria - Formulated for Large Ponds, Water Features and Safe for Koi - Gallon

For a while I used another pond bacteria that was super expensive and not nearly as effective as this stuff. I had an algae bloom in my pond. Since I have started using this once a month in my 2 acre pond, it has not bloomed again! It is also very easy to use. It helps with smelly decay odors, too. I have a lot of ducks and geese that "share" their nitrogen, i.e. poop, so the nitrogen load is an ongoing issue. This product seems to handle that challenge with ease. I am very happy I found this, and such a good price compared to some other stuff out there!

so far... so good...I have tried numerous other expensive enzyme, phos binder, barley straw extract etc. products and so far this one seems to be the best bang for the buck. Mostly filamentous algae problems and excessive organic/nitrogen run off

It works in my pond, but slowly.

Miracle worker! That’s the experience! Seriously!Every year we had muck and algae coating our pond. It smelled and looked disgusting! Tried a few products but nothing really worked well. Then happened upon this product. I poured the entire container into our pond along with targeted pods (different product) and they DESTROYED the muck and algae! Like, GONE! Our pond is literally crystal clear. Like glass! Amazing.

Works great to clear the water but be very careful how much to add if you have goldfish they don’t like this stuff

The media could not be loaded. 1 Gallon of Pond Bacteria for only $26 seems like a great price and unbelievable deal. That's what got me to buy this instead of my usual "Eco Labs 971047 10PLG4 Microbe Lift PL Bacteria". I was running out and during my Amazon search it brought this cheaper alternative.I purchase it because it was so cheap compared to the Microbe Lift PL which is about $50 for 1 gallon.Well as soon as I put in the correct amount for my pond. I notice immediately that it started to cloud my pond. So I pour it into a clear cup and the liquid is a cloudy white color. So I let it do its job but I also wanted to check on my very active and healthy Koi's in an hour.What I discovered is that my Koi's suddenly stop be active and didn't react to me being there, which is odd because when they see me, they all go up and get ready for feeding. But this time they didn't after I pour this into the pond.I so immediately drain my pond 100% and fill it up with fresh treated water. About 2 hours later my Koi's are back to normal. I have since learned my lesson to stick with what has been working great for me over the years, which is the "Eco Labs 971047 10PLG4 Microbe Lift PL Bacteria". Yes it's double the price of this bottle but it works and my Koi's have no issues with it.
