The middle light never turns green even after it finishes charging and stays orange. Is this normal?

The middle LED will only turn green when the current draw of the headset is less than 150mA. Please check if your Headset is turned off. If not, the LED will remain orange since the headset draw more than 150mA when standby.

Do hand controllers fit in if they have silicone covers?

I love Anker.. they make great stuff... but I agree with the Noel response... if it can't fit with silicone covers on with knuckle straps it is a hard pass for me. It really depends on what you are using it for... I'm using VR for fitness... I get sweaty... the controllers need to firmly be in my hands or someone for something in my home will pay for my decision to go strapless... because that fitness app Supernatural is no joke... you are moving fast and you are getting sweaty... the 2 don't mix for strapless smooth controllers with no impact absorption. My son uses his for light gaming and chat rooms.. this charger probably would work just fine for him. Does this work with the elite strap and battery? This changes the charging of the headset to the back.

You are not able to charge the battery in the strap when using this dock, and you have to unplug it (the extra battery) from the Oculus itself so that you can plug it into the charging base. It's not a wireless charger. This is obviously NOT an elegant solution.

So where would we get new rechargeable batteries from after the initial ones quit taking a charge? guess i have to go back to aa batteries??
