Protect Your Investment!
I didn't buy this when I ordered my HDTV. I regret that I didn't. Three weeks after it came my granddaughters scratched the screen with silverware from the kitchen. When you've just spent more on a TV than you ever have in your lifetime, it is painful to see it damaged so fast. I was also cleaning fingerprints constantly. So I did a search and found this screen protector. I was a little put off by the price of almost $70 for a piece of plastic, but in order to prevent further damage I knew I had to have this. I am so glad I did! No longer am I stressing over the grandkids going near the TV. It cleans easily and is scratch resistant as well as impact resistant. I love that this one doesn't cover the top so the air vents aren't blocked. It's easy to remove to clean the screen of dust when needed. I was worried the Velcro on the HDTV would pull off with the screen but I've had it off twice now and they don't seem to be coming loose at all. I'm very pleased. This product does what it claims to do. It's well worth the price.Update 2 Years Later: The item I purchased was an older design than is currently available. My screen protector does not have the lip at the top, which as I said earlier, I felt was a good thing. Use over time has proved that not to be the case. It is attached only with Velcro. When the HDTV is on for a long period of time the Velcro strips get hot and begin to release and the weight of the protector makes it fall off. Not a good thing when children are often near it. I've had clamps on the top to hold it for more than a year! Mine also has a spot in it which doesn't interfere with viewing but is noticeable when the HDTV is off. I purchased a 32" Samsung a week ago and ordered a new screen for it. It has the lip, attaches with a Velcro strap at the back and around the stand. It's a much nicer design without the ugly Velcro strips on the edges of the screen. I'm considering purchasing a new one for the 42" if I can figure out how to remove the adhesive from the Velcro strips on the old screen protector.

Good product for glare reduction
The manufacturer recommends this for inside use only but the only reason I need glare reduction is because I use the TV outdoors on a patio, so I ended up taking the risk on outdoor use and it seems to work well. The plastic is heavy enough that it probably would damage the TV screen if it bounces around due to wind , but between the strap on the back and velcro in the front it seems quite secure. This is actually a very nice product. I just wish it was about 1 inch wider since, even though my 55 inch TV has a narrow border, I can't use the velcro on the sides because the protector is just a bit wider than the screen itself and doesn't cover the entire border on the sides. That said, I use the velcro on the bottom part of the TV, which may be even better given the outside useAs others have mentioned (in reviews of this product for different sized TVs) the sharpness of the picture does get affected somewhat but it doesn't bother me enough to be an issue and I am pretty detail oriented. This is more of an issue if you hold the plastic 1-2 feet away from the TV and look through it, and less of an issue when the plastic is 1 inch from the TV screen.Glare reduction is pretty good, but not perfect (I doubt it can be). I enclosed a photo showing the glare on the TV with the protector, vs the glare on an ordinary window. All in all - I'd rather watch TV outside with product than without it.

A must have if you have a child who throws!
I very rarely leave an Amazon review, but this one deserves it! I have an autistic toddler. He throws anything and everything at the tv. I had no idea screen protectors for the tv existed. When I saw this, I cringed a little at the price, but we were desperate for a solution. We caved in and got it. When I tell you this protector was worth Every. Single. Penny. My child has thrown all of his toys at the tv, the big xylophone, an entire bottle of hot sauce, the big, Hess fire truck, etc. and all at full force. This protector has taken the brunt of all of it and it still going strong. Not a single scratch to our tv!! If you have a child who throws (mine throws as a stim) then I highly recommend this product to protect your tv!!

Helps some.
We have a TV outside at a bar by the pool that gets full sun during the day along with reflection from the poo. Does help some with the glare but it does make the picture less crisp. Doesn't distort it any. We had to order it 3 times. The first 2 times it arrived with a corner broken off. Both times exact same corner. Overall we're happy with it since it does protect the TV screen as well and cuts down on the glare. Easy to install.

Does Nothing to Eliminate Glare!
The glare screen was very easy to install and fit the TV well. The only reason it was purchased was to eliminate glare. However, it did little to nothing to prevent glare. At best it softened the glare but one still cannot see the TV screen. The Non-glare Screen was a waste of money!

Durable
I like the product it's very durable and it protects my TV 📺 But I had difficulty installing it. Do to the velcro straps wouldn't go around my TV. The way my Samsung TV 📺 is designed. It did not have a stand in the middle of the TV. It had the 2 legs on the left and the right of the TV 📺 Due to that the velcro starp would not go around the 2 legs, only on the middle stand. So I had to drill several holes 🕳 at the bottom of the screen protector. And I had to retrofit it, is the only way the velcro strap would go around the Screen protector. That's why I had trouble, because all screen protector is not set up for all TV's. But we still use it today and it really protects your TV 📺 especially with little kids. Because my TV 📺 has fell several times and there's no damage to the TV not even the screen protector itself. This will save you a lot of money 💰 in the long run. If your willing to invest the extra money 💰 to save you. We've had it for 3 years now.
