These glasses are perfect. They feel nice in your hand, great weight and not too heavy. I bought another set of glasses from this company that are a bit fancier (Astoria, also beautiful) and I save those for special sips because I will only hand wash them. These ones go in the dishwasher and have held up great. My daily sipper, even if it’s just for a glass of juice in the morning.Love these glasses!

My husband wanted a heavier glass for his bourbon and is very happy with these.

First Class Pan Am Lounge Rocks Glasses, Set of 2, 10.5 Oz., are lovely crystal glasses. They are the style glass used in the Clipper Club, the airport lounge for first class passengers of Pan American World Airways in the mid-50s. They are a bit of history, not only for the time, but also for the airline.These glasses are crystal replicas of the original glasses with a nice, heavy base, and striking "textured, channel-cut faceted lines" on the sides." They are quite elegant in appearance. And they hold a generous amount of drink.I like them first and foremost because they are very nice glasses that are lovely in appearance, but also because of the fun history they represent. You can have fun pretending you are on the 1st leg of a world tour on the fabled Pam Am Airways. Not a bad game.

These are now the whiskey glasses that I look for when it's that time.They're beautiful! I love the speed lines along the sides.They feel substantial.They hold a fair amount of whiskey--including a large single ice cube, which is my preferred coolant for whiskey and rye.Highly recommended!!!
