Fisher-Price Nickelodeon Shimmer & Shine, Wish & Spin Shimmer Doll

I bought this for my granddaughter as a going back to school gift. She was ecstatic when she opened the box. I never heard of these dolls but boy I'm educated now. I had a hard time convincing her that this doll does not grant wishes but she sure looks like she could. She talks and spins and comes with a cute genie bottle pendant to help grant those imaginary wishes or at least make the doll spin.The doll is well make and the clothes are part of the doll so there is no lost shoes or dresses. You can get another one and they interact Christmas is coming after all what better time to make wishes come true.

Perfect toy for shimmer and shine lovers. My 3 and 2 year olds love it. It is easy to sync both dolls with each other as show in video.

I bought this doll and it had no pull tab. I was glad I read the reviews of others with the same issue. All the doll did was say one line and didnt spin. It has to have the pull tab removed to do more. We actually took the whole thing apart and when we had it in bright light looking at the wiring, we saw the pull tab. It is clear plastic and practically invisible. Look hard for it! The doll works fine now…. hope that continues. The hair does look odd as some of the reviews said. Almost looks like someone cut a chunk out. I combed and trimmed and will give it to my granddaughter tomorrow.

Received the item and it did not have a pull tab (like instructions state) to take off of “test mode.” Therefore it does not work properly and only says the one phrase it says while on “try me” instead of all the sayings she’s supposed to say.

My daughter is a huge fan of this show and this was one of her favorite Christmas presents. The toy is a bit slow to respond to voices on occasion so it did cause my daughter some frustration but overall she was still pretty happy with it.
