Disposable, convenient 50mm filter unit features a hydrophobic PTFE membrane in a high purity polypropylene housing. Behaves as an absolute retentive membrane. Use as a sterile air vent for fermentation tanks, bioreactors, or receiving containers. Protect pumps from aqueous liquids and aerosols. Connections are 7-13.5mm stepped hose barb with male luer slip. Housing has a vent port. Autoclavable. Sterile units (model 50JP020AS) are individually bagged.
