Is this hat a polyester/cotton blend or 100% cotton? The description says both. Thanks.

It is a blend. My last boonie was just cotton, and I prefer this one because it breathes, dries faster, and has not shrunk. Enjoy!

can you boil water inside of this hat?

I do believe that Bear Grylls could boil water in this hat and I’ve heard Chuck Norris cooked a turkey in it.

Is it breathable? How does it wear in the heat and high humidity

If you look at the close up picture of the hat on Amazon, you'll see that it has a breathable metal-mash grommet on either side of the hat. It's fine in the heat, but I've never warn it in high-humidity. If you're looking for something summery and very breathable, you should look at lighter hats that have an abundance of mesh around the hat. If you want a very durable all around bush-craft bug-out type hat, this is a very good choice

Boonie sympa et à la bonne taille et des réglages sympa. Par contre au niveau durabilité c'est limite. Je m'en suis servis tout l'été et il se décolore déjà. (sans le laver)

Pretty solid Boonie hat. It's well made and I love that it's adjustable. I would say that the Tru-Spec is better made than the Rothco Boonie. I own both. The only takeaway is that it doesn't have the the loops around the top for sticks and bush vegetation.
