Description

This convenient Scrubbing File has a hard but very flexible center strip onto which is permanently fused two different grades of abrasive non-woven material. One side has a medium surface for smoothing rough areas and the other has a fine grit for more delicate work. The file is not meant to remove large amounts of material on hard surfaces but it works beautifully on craft and hobby projects for surface conditioning, cleaning, finishing, blending, deburring, scuffing, etc. on such surfaces as dry clay (bisque and greenware), softer woods, some plastics, etc. It can also be used to give shiny surfaces a satiny appearance. The convenient shape is easy to hold and allows the user to work close to edges and in corners. It is very flexible, capable of bending 180 degrees but it will retain its original shape when released. The file can be washed in water, dried and then reused or used wet if desired. It measures 5-3/4"L overall, 1/2" wide and approx. 9/16" thick.
