Ya know, some people in these reviews will gripe about such trivial stuff. So here’s a suggestion for you complainers, lemongrass is good for oily hair. The mint is best for dry scalp. Geez. As for bar of shampoo getting thin towards the end of its life and breaking into smaller pieces, solution is to put bits and pieces in a little mesh bag. That’s not too hard is it? Complaints about mushy soap? Well, don’t leave it in the tin with lid on it. Let it dry between use. Anything wet and sealed inside a metal tin will stay wet. Geez. Sigh. I love this product. I read the ingredients thoroughly and was not disappointed in the results. I’ve stopped coloring my hair and my grey hair can be uncontrollable with dry scalp. My hair is smoother and less frizz and healthier than it has ever been. I personally like the scent as well. It’s a nice natural scent. So others complaining about scent clearly prefers the strong perfumes of bottle shampoo, the same shampoo laden with chemicals. So if you want clean, healthier hair with herbal scent then buy it. If you want heavy, strong smell and chemically coated hair then buy something else. So simple.

I’ve been using this bar for a week now and I have to say I’m very pleased! I have fine hair that has always gotten oily quickly, I typically wash my hair every day or every other day because of this and it is very hard to find a natural shampoo bar that doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave a lot of residue. It’s nearly impossible to find one that doesn’t have coconut oil as one of the first ingredients which I try to avoid because it takes days and/or 4-5 washes to get coconut oil out of my hair. This bar doesn’t have any coconut oil at all which I love! My hair feels super clean and bouncy afterward, not full of static or totally flat after using it. It leaves my hair shiny and not greasy. I can go a day in between washes no problem. I got the Rosemary Mint scented one which smells really fresh and clean but is not overpowering. It lathers super nicely too. If you’ve struggled with the heaviness or residue left behind of typical shampoo bars then you’ll love this. I’ll be buying this again for sure.

Smells great, made my hair feel nice, but after one wash my scalp was painful, covered in bumps, and itchy as all hell. I was wondering what could be causing this as I’ve never had a reaction like this to any shampoo/shampoo bar before, (and I was really hoping it wasn’t the bar honestly as I really liked it)... but saw that there was nettle leaf extract in the bar... as in stinging nettle. This is definitely what caused the reaction as I am super allergic to stinging nettle (as are most people as far as I know...) so now I’m confused as to all the positive reviews on this product. Anyway, beware if you are nettle sensitive like me... or you will end up with a painful and bumpy scalp for weeks after using this bar. 😣

I love the rosemary and peppermint conditioner so I was anxiously awaiting for the shampoo. (I had reached out to the company over the summer to find out when/if a shampoo was going to be made; there was only the conditioner at the time. I’m happy to note the shampoo was available for purchase when they said it would be). The shampoo lathers very well, especially compared to other shampoo bars I’ve used. The only thing I would suggest is to be sure and read the ingredients. I purposely bought the rosemary and peppermint because I can’t use any citrus oils; that’s why I don’t buy the other scent they make. I assumed the shampoo would be similar to the conditioner ingredients and bought two. After getting an itchy scalp I looked up the ingredients and what do you know listed is grapefruit seed extract. I’m thoroughly disappointed. Now my kids are using it and I had to find something else. Wonderful product if you’re not allergic to any ingredients! It’s been great in my kids hair.

I love 99.99999% of everything about this. The packaging is eco friendly and the smell is great out of the box. The scent, I've tried 2 now, keeps smelling great. There's nothing I've exhibited that keeps smelling so wonderful.On top of all those great attributes it works well too. The lather gets my scalp and hair clean, yet not dried out. I work warehouse so I sweat all day and I haven't had a natural shampoo work as well. I've had more compliments on my hair since I've been using this than ever before, so it looks more vibrant too.In addition to this great shampoo, they're conditioner is equally wonderful. My only, very inconsequential critique is that it should should come with a soap bag for when it breaks. They inevitably crumble when they get very thin. It's minuscule because these soap bags are easy to find and very budget friendly.
