Doesn’t work well on dark hair
I tried to dye my bangs purple. I have jet-black hair and usually on dark hair you get a sheen of the color in the sunlight. I had colored my hair and let it sit for 10 minutes more then necessary. I rinsed my hair out and checked. I didn’t see A HINT of the color. I realized that it was a lost cause so I washed my hair with shampoo and the water turned blue. The dye doesn’t really add much color.

this is not violet - but bright bright blue - turquoise after a few washes
the product stays in the hair well - but this is not violet - but definitely a bright blue. We tried mixing it with pink but the blue is so dominant in this product.
