Pleasantly Surprised
These pants arrive today and I am actually impressed with them. I got the red color and they're more of a dark burgandy/almost purple which I like. There were some stitching errors, though. I went to put them on and started popping stitches on the right-hand side of the waistband before I even got my feet into them lol. Must have been some funky sewing there. I did eventually get them on in one piece and then everything seemed to be good to go. They were not quite as tight as I was initially afraid they might be which is good (because I'd be afraid of seams eventually ripping) and bad (because sagging leggings aren't great). However they fit decently enough and give me room to move. For those ladies out there with big butts: these pants can handle it. :) Oftentimes when I try pants like these with the stitching across the butt, the stitching is actually up way too high and will only be suitable for someone with a small to average behind. If you've got anything bigger than that, sometimes the stitching will cut across and make it look like you've got a double butt :D That's not the case with these and I appreciate that. They ARE a low-rise, so some people might not like that. I could hike them up more but then the butt stitching would be too high, of course.I like the lining inside of the pants and I like the pocket and fly details (none of which are functional though) as they make the pants look more like actual pants and less like leggings. There are actual belt loops too.The material is soft and thick enough to be fairly durable but not too thick. The shine is pretty matte, which is nice. I imagine the inseam will wear with time just due to friction but hopefully they can survive a few wears.I bought the size large and they fit fine (160lb, 32" waist, 42" hips).

Hugs nicely. Doesn't slip down. True to size. Baking soda and white vinegar soaking for smell
1st of all. Measurements.I am 5 foot 4 inches tall. 147lbs. I have a waist line of 29 and a half inches, hips at 40 and a half inches circumference. True to size. I bought a medium.Moving on:The inside material is warm fleece like and hugs to your body. Plus side: it doesn't move, you don't have to pull it up ever. Clings in a good way. Negative: you'll sweat inside it but you'll also be warm in winter. The material is just as Shiney and beautiful in person.Negative: when you first open the package, the plastic fish smell is so strong, you'll immediately gag. I've encountered this before and I have a secret:Take these leggings and put them in a sink. Next dump baking soda all over the inside and outside of the leggings. Next, pour white vinegar all over the pants, inside and out and then when the reaction has settled a bit, soak them in sink water over night and add more vinegar and baking soda.I did that and then washed the leggings twice. Made all the difference and the leggings don't have even a trace of smell.White vinegar and baking soda solutions will remove all bad smells from anything. I have cats...I know. These leggings are awesome, they hug so nicely. Recommend totally.

Perfect for steampunk
The pants are thin, but a bit hot due to the faux leather and flannel like lining. I thought it had belt loops per the photos, but what I received does not. I’ll have to make adjustments to my costume, but not a deal breaker. There’s lots of excess material, but the fabric does stretch some, which results in gathering of material around the knees and ankles. The fit is a bit weird, almost like pantyhose, and the same fragility to the fabric. As I pulled them up, again, there is an excess of fabric, I heard a disturbing “seam ripping” sound, but didn’t find any tears. I’m hopeful they’ll make it through the ren fest, but I wouldn’t use them as normal pants and feel confident they won’t rip during wear. The look is perfect for my steampunk outfit, but may be odd for a normal day.

So comfortable
I love these pants. I wear them on stage while I sing and they are breathable, light weight and fit well. They also have a great shine to them...look great!

They smell AWFUL and feel cheap
This was a quick and hard NO. I bought the black with fleece lining. As soon as I opened the bag this awful fishy smell hit me. I figured I'd allow them to air out but after a day the smell was still strong as ever. When I tried them on I was so worried my nails were going to rip the faux leather. Actually, anything could have ripped those pants. To make matters worse, even with the Fleece lining, I knew within 10 seconds that my legs and ass would be sweating profusely if I wore these out. Oh! And can't forget the air bubbles whenever I'd move a certain way. It was so bizarre! If you're curvy like I am with a 12 inch difference between your waist and butt/hips (size 14 pants), you know the fight that ensues to put leggings. These pants would most certainly not last through repeat fights to put on. I really wanted these to work but they ended up being returned. Don't waste your money on these.

Not As Good for Heavier Folks
If you've got the perfect curves? Probably would be amazing.I'm 5.5' tall and nearly 200 lbs and ordered a XX-Large. The legs are *way* too long but otherwise it fits okay. However, the stitches don't stretch like the material does so the first time I put them on I immediately heard stitches ripping. And because of the particular shape the legs tend to bunch up both right under the butt and around the knees. Also if you've not got a thin waist or have too large a butt it'll probably pull down about an inch.Additionally the design doesn't look quite as nice as the product photos on the larger sizes since the didn't compensate for the difference in proportions. Also expect a strong chemical smell when they arrive and be prepared to air them out for at least a day. Overall, it's okay. I don't expect this to last a long time, but for the price I'm good with them.

Love em
Really nice and stretchy. Make my butt look nice. Big thighs so they rub together and the middle will rub out. Up to you if you care. Aside from that they’re ok. Idk if I’d buy again bc of that tho
