Used to freeze baby purée, worked great. I like the stand that comes with it. The lid doesn’t “pop on” but placing it on top keeps the freezer air away.

I have had no problems using this ice tray for my water bottles. The ice was easy to remove and having the lid keeps any potential odors away.

I’ve been a long time fan of Tovolo products, so I thought this ice cube tray would be a knockout. It has a snap-on lid to keep the ice fresh and has a tray to keep the silicone mold stable, right? …right? Those are features that this listing appears to have and that surely it does have, because otherwise what is the point of having a lid or making the silicone mold and tray two separate pieces?Wrong! This thing sucks! It has a lid that doesn’t snap on (WHY???!) and a tray that the silicone ice mold fits into so awkwardly that you are guaranteed to spill water while moving it to the freezer. When you finally get it to the freezer, good luck setting it down, because all three parts will move at the slightest provocation. If you don’t have a perfectly flat surface to put it on, the silicone mold will warp and spill the little water you managed to keep in it during transport. My partner and I have spent way too much time trying to figure out if maybe there was a way that it all fits together so it’s stable, and scoured this Amazon listing…and realized that it is just as shoddy as it appears. There is no saving it, there is no user error. There is just a criminally stupid design.And that note, what kind of product designer came up with this? What user testing made it see the light or day? I hope whoever designed and whoever gave this product the green light are doomed to spend eternity with lukewarm drinks and a house full of products that have all the components they need to be functional but for some reason don’t work at all. I think it would be just to also wish those people step on a few legos each day.To add insult to injury, this ice tray would have been overpriced even if it did work as it should. I was stupid enough to tell myself that it was worth it to pay more for a product that seemed like it was constructed well. Considering that it’s impossible to fill, impossible to transport, and impossible to put into the freezer without losing most of the water, it’s an absolute rip off. You would be better off spilling a glass of water in your freezer and chipping away at it to get ice than trying to use this. At least that would cost you nothing. At least somehow that is more dignified than using this product.

If the cover fit better on this I would love it! But it doesn’t, and the cover is basically useless. It doesn’t click on, it literally just sits (poorly) on the top of it… essentially the cover is pointless. But other than that it’s a decent product!

The best ice try tray for your bottles it really works. :)

This tray makes the perfect size ice sticks. It's better than getter smaller cubes that take a while getting out of the tray and then inserting into the bottles.

I like the ease of use in removing the frozen ice rods. You must make sure that the try is level as the lid isn't air tight. Great size for water bottles.

I bought this to freeze yogurt and berries for a teething snack for my 6month old. It fits its purpose. I break them in half for him. The lid doesn't fully snap on and air lock it but with yogurt it doesn't really spill all that much. So of using for ice cubes it definitely needs to be flat in the freezer. I also don't use the border part of it - it comes in 3 pieces, border, ice cube tray and lid. I dont like that it has the 2 pieces for tray, I woulsa preferred a solid piece but, it does what it's supposed to do so im happy with the purchase

Notice the measurements. This is a small container for ice. Maybe all you need. Very high quality container. Excellent material.

The concept is good and cubes are perfect for water bottles, but by the time I walk from the sink to the freezer half the water has spilled out. The silicone mold is not sturdy despite its base.It's fine but the design could have been made stronger.
