I am fairly new to iris folding, but am deeply and totally addicted. I had been looking online for tutorials and books to help me with this simple yet amazing craft. I had just purchased and received another book that is being sold on this site..I won't mention the name, but I can tell you it cost more than this one and it doesn't even come close to the quality and detail of this book. I have never bought anything via amazon that I felt I needed to take the time to write a review about and trust me I've bought alot of things. This book just arrived yesterday and I just woke up and here I sit with my laptop writing my review. One book about folding claims that it may well be the only book you'll ever need. Bah Humbug!!! This is the only book you will ever need. The step by step instructions are so detailed and amazing..the author left nothing out and the amount of patterns fantastic. I wish I had purchased this first, I could have saved some money.

There is a wonderful variety of designs. This is a definite "go to" book for Iris Folding

As a new Iris Fold crafter, this book is VERY helpful. A ton of patterns and examples. You can use your printer to copy the patterns, or use tracing paper. Once I decide which pattern to use, it seems to take me forever to figure out paper colors/patterns. That's where this book really helps, as it contains good photos of completed cards with different color options. For me, this was well worth the money. Also, I have since seen this book selling elsewhere for significantly more than Amazon's price.

Brilliant, easy to understand instructions how to make the cards with annotated templates to trace or copy. All designs show imaginative ideas to use the templates as well as encouraging you to create your own designs. The designs cover all seasons and events throughout the year. I have used it for a few years now and have built up a library of templates which I have traced onto pliable clear plastic so they can be reused without marking the book all the time in any way, the limit is your imagination!

This book is very nicely set up and the patterns are excellent, easy instructions with a number of pictures to show you which each pattern would look like done in different colours and textures. The selection of themes for each pattern is great, your imagination is unlimited. Love this book and well worth the price. Enjoy!
