My city recently banned single use plastic bags for produce, so I finally buckled down and got these. Glad I did! Many different sizes in the set and easy to take along with me, with either a few bags in my purse or in my reusable shopping bag. Washing is a snap, I put them in a mesh garment pouch (to prevent the drawstrings from tangling on the agitator) when I do my towels/whites and toss in a little laundry sanitizer. Easy peasy!

I had been wanting to find a way to reduce my plastic waste from the grocery store and also have less plastic touching my food. These cotton bags accomplish both those things! I have been using them for about eight months and they work great. They have held up well in the washer. The variety of sizes is great for larger/smaller items. A few of the bags are a solid cotton material instead of mesh, which has turned out to be useful for some things (like seeds) that I buy in bulk.

I love these thing, I take them with me every week. They are made well and hold up pretty well to even the heaviest vegetables. The only issue is that they are sort of hard to see through. I've had to get in the habit of memorizing what is in each one when I go to ring out, otherwise the cashier has to open every single bag to determine what is in them slowing down the line greatly.

I like these bags, keep vegetables and fruits from rotting because of retained moisture if they were kept in the plastic bags. They are made of cotton and washable.
