When that happens, our factory manually fixes them by adding correct 'best by' sticker on top of the faulty one. If your unit has this issue, always refer to the expiration date that is overlaid on top, as it will be the accurate one. We are actively working on replacing the printing machine so that such technical errors will be greatly reduced.
