SAMSUNG OEM Original Part: DA97-12712C Freezer Handle

My handle had set screws on both ends, and I could not find that version anywhere online. Perhaps an earlier version of the unit???I bought this handle, and it would not slide over the screw on the one end as the video showed. The screw on the freezer door was more squarish than angled. I bought these screws (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RYZGBWQ?psc=1) and they installed easily and perfectly. It was after a bit of trial and error with some other parts, but now it's perfect. Just a heads up if you experience the same issue.

The bar on our Samsung 4 door, French door pull out freezer was worn, broken and would not stay attached. This was due to the constant pulling up on the handle in order to open the door (and, probably the leaning on it by my son as he stared into the cold abyss wondering what he wanted to eat).This is the EXACT same bar that came with the refrigerator. It took less than 10 min to remove the old, broken bar and install this one. The only tool you'll need is a Torx screwdriver. My wife is super particular about things, and she was stoked it looked like the original (because it essentially is).So glad I finally replaced the old handle!

Great item, matched perfectly to the fridge.Had to replace plastic insert with a screw set from old handle. Its little different from the one on old handle, its is easy to do just one screw that holds it.

I replace the broken original with this product easily and it has functioned perfectly.

This fit perfectly for the RFG297HDRS/XAA fridge. This comes with all the pieces necessary to replace a broken handle including the small set screws. You just need the correct size Allen key tool to tighten the set screwI found it hard to find Samsung part numbers as they change a lot and there is no clear parts diagrams available. Other manufacturers have much clearer documentation on replacement parts

Product worked like expected.

The part looked correct but was short by 2 inches and did not fit my refrigerator door even though the part was listed as correct for the model I own. Product arrived quickly and return was easy but I can't seem to find the correct handle for my fridge. Called Samsung but they were not very helpful and just said I needed to contact another department for help but did not tell me which department. This was the 4th handle I have ordered and none of them have been the right length for he door.

This handle was easy to install, it’s worth the money. I’m very happy with the product I would buy it again.
