doesnt fit right.
it is selling a parts for 1st gen mini (r50). but it does not 100% fit to r50 mini. filter is too large. so i had to spend 3 hours for fit it. installed it to avoid interference as much as possible, but we couldn't finish it perfectly. problem is large filter and bended pipes angle. i will change the filter smaller.

Made it Fit
Just once it would be nice to order something claiming to fit 2005 Mini Cooper R50. This is my second attempted purchase, and this one did indeed fit in the engine compartment. But it does not fit on the intake, is 1/2 inch too big and needs either a reducer, or like I did, some manipulation but wrapping the intake with some rubber buffering to get the sleeve to fit. But it does now and works fine. Additionally, no support bracket included, and it you believe the CAI will remain tight and connected while bouncing around potholes, good for you. I fabricated a support after I took the picture. So only a three due to all my extra work.
