HORRIBLE
First ever hair dye, so I went with something that seemed not harsh chemical wise but the color would turn out well. Boy was I wrong. I applied the dye as stated by the instructions, waited for 25 minutes, and then washed out the excess briefly. Nothing. If anything it added a ugly green tint to my hair. I ordered black. Tried it again, surley I must've messed up and didn't leave it in long enough. Nooope. More green this time, so I couldn't just wash it out and pretend this nightmare never happened. So I waited a few hours before thinking the third times the charm and picked up the now bluish green stained bottle. I applied it on dry hair and in a very thick layer, and left it in for an hour. It did the best this time around, although it has a major flaw, the vibrant color is BLUE instead of black. It also washes out in a variety of blues, greens, purples, reds and even browns. The closest thing I've gotten with this product was while waiting for it to set it was black.Don't waste your money or your time. Go with a permanent dye next time, at least you'll actually get results.

The purple is the only con
I have used almost every color this brand has! If you get your hair platinum blonde they all work amazing! The only one that I have ever had a problem with and many others as well is any shade of purple. Always turns out blue instead. Idk if it is because the dye is henna (the stuff used for temp. Tattoos) but purple is the only color I have had not turn out anywhere near what it color it is supposed to be. I also read someone said the black didnt work. Now my hair is naturally black, but I think they needed to still bleach their hair to get it to color right. It is henna, not hair color. So all shades need as light of a base as you can get! I use wella lightening bleach with wella developer, then I use wella platinum toner and developer to take the brassiness out. Before I even try the colors. Like I said, i have black hair and I can get it platinum. You just have to use toner and a really good brand of bleach. I am 42 years old and have been coloring my hair since I was 12. So I know what I am doing! I also had a few hairstylists help me order all of the right stuff and teach me the right amounts to mix, lenght of time to use ect. I have used other colors in the past, but this brand has been my favorite.

Not very pigmented
I have medium to light blonde hair, and I bleached it a couple levels lighter before I applied it. The texture and color right out of the bottle just feels and looks weak, and not in a ooh yay pastel kind of way. it comes out a darker pink, on blonde hair that isn't a level 9 or 10 and it will pull reds or whatever your undertone is. My hair ends up a magenta every time I try this. So just make sure you lighten your hair to a 10 if you want thecolor to turn out right. I definitely dont think it's better than manic panic, and it doesn't hold a candle to iro iro or even strawberry leopard. I gave it 3 stars because it DID color my hair, it just wasn't a highly pigmented formula, or very effective, compared to what's out there at the same price point.

Marshmallow…..
Is not what I expected it to be.I thought it was going to be a very light pink, instead it was blueish.I tested it on a hair swatch and it toned it REALLY well, almost turned the swatch white!I washed and dried the swatch and applied candy floss to it and it is the perfect baby pink I have always wanted!

10/10 recommend
I mixed coral red/fire to get a good shade to just amp up my naturally ginger hair and I’m really impressed by this formula! I’ve used a lot of different semi permanents in the past for all different colors, so I’ve experienced good and bad color payoff— when I saw how runny the formula was I have to admit I didn’t expect much, but this dye really surprised me! I got the exact color that I was hoping for, and I only left it on for about 45 minutes when I usually leave semi permanent dyes on for several hours. The color is perfectly even without any patchy spots and by some absolute miracle it didn’t stain my skin?? My hands had a teeny tint of red you could barely see (from rinsing it all out without gloves lol) but my ears/forehead/neck weren’t stained at all... I have no idea what kind of magic that is but I’m kind of amazed. The runnier formula also makes it really easy to apply, which was nice.Long story short— it’s good stuff and I’m buying more.

So vibrant and the color lasts for a long time
This is my new favorite. I've tried fire and vemillion red and both colors are awesome. Doesn't fade fast like many other dyes I've tried

This colour is great just a few things you know
This colour is very vibrant and last a long time what you need to do is the first time you put the colour in your hair you will see it doesn't stop bleeding. You need to give it a very good shampoo and it's still will not stop bleeding, but that's OK because after a really good shampoo, it shouldn't rub off on any of your clothes, then you should give your hair about four days without washing and always use cold water and this colour last forever. I absolutely love it. There's a few things you need to do to make it work, but I think it's all worth it.

Lilac has no red/purple hues!
Unsure about other colours but the lilac is awful. There is absolutely no way there is red or purple pigments of any kind in their formulation. I've used a bunch of purple shades from other brands (go-to being Joico color intensity) but figured I'd give this a try in a pinch. Never again! While the results aren't horrendous (especially since it should wash out quickly), what is intended to be a lilac is straight up blue with green/grey hue undertones. My hair is naturally light grey, but also has professionally lightened highlights and currently bits of a very light purple that is several months faded. This dye didn't even do anything to the purple parts! It's just gave my grey a bluey green tinge. If this company wants to claim this is lilac, they either need to reformulate or change the name. Don't waste your money, find a supplier of Joico color intensity as the price difference is minimal! Sure amazon is convenient, but an absolute waste of money and time.
